Gershwin, "An Unfinished Symphony" / Gershwin- "Uma Sinfonia Inacabada"

In every dive into the history of the life and work of the great masters of music that imperatively struggled this turbulent and mysterious "sea" that is life I realized how much work, resilience (and in many cases, like that of Mozart, Schubert, and also George Gershwin (1898-1937), their health entered this "mix") is needed so that the history of mankind can become a little better.

Gershwin, despite the success, was harshly criticized by "inventing" a totally revolutionary musical style blending classical forms with jazz.

"I consider jazz the music of the people, a very powerful and artistic expression that can form the basis of serious symphonic works of real and lasting value," he said.

Despite being a brilliant improviser, he was quite demanding and this profile turned into inferiority complex when it came to concert music. He didn’t think he was good enough...

The literary critic Otto Maria Carpeaux (1900-1978) defined it as this

"We must not be too harsh. Gershwin's life and work were an unfinished symphony."

trabalho ,resiliência e em muitos casos, como o de Mozart, Schubert,  e também George Gershwin (1898-1937) ,a própria saúde entraram nesse "mix"   para que  a história da humanidade ficasse um pouco melhor. 
Gershwin, apesar do sucesso ,sofreu severas críticas por "inventar" um estilo musical totalmente revolucionário misturando as formas clássicas ao jazz.
" Considero o jazz a música do povo, uma manifestação artística muito poderosa  e que pode constituir  a base de sérios trabalhos sinfônicos de valor real e duradouro", disse ele.
Apesar de ser um improvisador genial era bastante exigente e esse perfil acabou se transformando em complexo de inferioridade ,quando o assunto era música de concerto. Ele não se achava bom o suficiente...
O critico literário Otto Maria  Carpeaux  ( 1900-1978) o definiu assim,
" Não convém ser rigoroso demais. Vida e obra de Gershwin foram uma sinfonia inacabada."
