Tintinnmabuli

This sonorous word is a compositional reference created by Arvo Pärt, the most highlighted contemporary composer of church music, born in September 11, 1935 in Estonia.
This technique is characterized by two types of "voices":
the first "voice" does an arpeggio with the notes of the tonic triad (in the song that I recommend here it begins with a Sol-Mi b -Do, the three notes of the chord of C minor) and the second "voice" moves gradually and diatonically , namely by whole tones without semitones.
Pärt's work always has a minimalist and meditative character.
This opposition of movements, composer x entirety, is a unique and illuminating dot in our immediate and introverted universe.
It’s worth listening to.
The piece The Beatitudes (text follows below) is sung by the Choir Boys "Wuppetaler Kurrent"

Vale a pena escutar .

The Beatitudes (1990/1991)-

  1. Blessed are the poor in spirit : for theirs is the

  2. kingdom of heaven.

  3. Blessed are they that mourn : for they shall be

  4. comforted.

  5. Blessed are the meek : for they shall inherit the

  6. earth.

  7. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after

  8. righteousness : for they shall be filled.

  9. Blessed are the merciful : for they shall obtain

  10. mercy.
  11. Blessed are the pure in heart : for they shall see

  12. God.

  13. Blessed are the peacemakers : for they shall be

  14. called the children of God.

  15. Blessed are they which are persecuted for

  16. righteousness' sake : for theirs is the kingdom of

  17. heaven.

  18. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and

  19. persecute you and say all manner of evil against

  20. you falsely, for my sake.

  21. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad : for great is your

  22. reward in heaven : for so persecuted they the

  23. prophets which were before you. Amen
